WHAT IS MARBLE?

Marble is metamorphic rock that composed primarily of the mineral calcite and also contains some other minerals such as micas, quartz, iron oxides, graphite, pyrite and clay minerals. In other words; marble is a rock that forms while limestone is subjected to the pressure and heat of metamorphism. During metamorphism, this calcite recrystallizes and texture of the rock. Re-crystallization is what marks the separation between marble and limestone. Minerals that includes of the stone in metamorphism process also determines the feature of the rock.

FINDING QUARRY

EXTRACTION PROCESS

When the mining has begin, there maybe several months of diggings before any marble is execrated from quarry. CUTTING PROCESS

After that, they goes to polishing process that only 1% of the surface will be coated in raisin, maintaining purity of the final shape of the natural stone.
